Giclée pronounced (zhee-klay) is a process used for professional 8-Color to 12-Color ink-jet printers or known as "pigment print" and not Iris prints which are found in most low end personal or semi professional printers.
The quality of the Giclée process is not only a true color production of the work but its true archival ability. Giclée prints are commonly found in art museums, art galleries and photographic galleries.
Since "pigment" ink is used in the process and not common dye ink, the finished work has a scratch resistant finish and resists fading.
I've had requests to use a standard printing process such as Iris, however, I am not confident in the finished product.
All my printed work is processed out-of-house with the usage of high end printers.
I offer the six most common sizes however if you require any larger / custom size or have a question please use my contact us form.
