The Golden Gate Bridge is the most tourist attraction in San Francisco. Its splendid color draws its uniqueness among other bridges. In fact, the bridge when built was designed to be painted the standard gray color, however, a campaign was successfully achieved to leave the primer paint color of red.
The bridge was designed to sway ten feet in heavy winds. If your daring, walk the bridge on a windy day and experience the sway.

Some tips on viewing Golden Gate Bridge: Map Reference:
To get some distant sunsets of bridge I shot from Pier 39. This gave me plenty of zoom possibilies along with angle shots.
I found (B) Crissy Field as a neat spot for some shots to include a beach like frontage and of course (D) the Marina District gave the boating presentation I was looking for.
Going to (C) Golden Gate Nat'l Recreation Park allows for some interesting viewing from another side of the bridge.
