Some Sightseeing Tips on Times Square
Known for bringing in the New Year,
Times Square is the heart of New York City.
A tourist delight with the best live shows
in the world on Broadway and famous
Restaurant Row.
Being a native of New York City, I can
surely say it's my favorite city.
In the Times Square area you can
enjoy the hustle and bustle of
the yellow taxis, meet street
vendors and bargain a deal.
There are wonderful restaurants and
one of my favorites is called
Carmine's. It's Italian cuisine with a
gusto of garlic.
Every kid young and old will enjoy the
Toys R Us store and of course the
long running show, The Lion King.
For the sports buff, The ESPN Zone
is a must stop. Enjoy a great meal
while watching your favorite sporting
event on large wide screens.
Take the kids to the top floor of ESPN
Zone and they are sure to enjoy
the vast amount of electronic games.
Another great stop is the Hard Rock
store on the corner of 43rd. Street and 7th
Avenue. Great T-Shirts and other
Hard Rock items are sold here. Sephora,
another highlight store to many is located
between 43rd & 44th Streets.
Don't forget to take a stroll on 42nd
Street between 7th & 8th avenues
and if you get a chance catch a show
at BB Kings.
